Lyme disease has been called the "great pretender."
I was going through joint pains and cognitive issues.
It is a challenging disease to figure out. I was told my new normal would consist of me being heavy, tired, and experiencing cognitive issues. Dealing with these different issues made it difficult to function in day-to-day activities.
I realized that I had to get control of this situation somehow. It all started seven years ago when my best friend was told they only had one year.
My healthy journey has been incredible, having the opportunity to take control of my health—Doing my research and finding someone who could help me battle my Lyme disease.
“You've got to do the work and take responsibility for your health. If you don't, nobody else will.”
Seven years later, my best friend is still here today, and on our healthy journey together, we've been able to help so many people.
